Dr. Melanie Thevis - Veterinarian

Dr. Melanie Thevis joined the staff of Parmer Lane Pet Hospital in 2015.

She grew up in Orange, Texas, and attended Texas A&M University, earning a BS degree in Biomedical Science in 2001. She graduated from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and has been practicing in central Texas since then. Dr. Thevis enjoys emergency medicine, internal medicine, and surgery. She is a member of the Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice, the Capital Area Veterinary Medical Society, the Texas Veterinary Medical Society, the American Veterinary Medical Society, and the American Animal Hospital Association.

Dr. Thevis is married and has two little boys that keep her busy when not working. The family includes Swimmer, a lab mix, Martin, a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, and a cat, Rhino. Favorite activities include reading, crossword puzzles, beach and lake activities, and snow skiing.
